Intermittent fasting – short tips
There is almost like a general consent on the regular meals being the healthiest. That eating frequent, small meals is good and that starting the day with dinner leads to weight and health problems. On the other hand, there appear to be some indications of leaving out breakfast or morning meals that promise lots of benefits including weight loss. So called intermittent fasting.
If we look at it from the evolutionary perspective, it could even make sense. Our ancestors didn’t have breakfast every day. While we were mostly eating dinner leftovers it also happened that we would have first catch or go out pick something that we could eat. And that could take some time.
Of course the times where different back then and intermittent fasting isn’t right for everyone. That said, if you will stay breakfast-less once or twice weekly it won’t hurt you. Just be sure not to fill yourself with sweet juices, fruits, chocolate and so on. There is nothing except water this time.
